LQR & Kalman Filter

Our team simulated a satellite orbiting around Earth. Specifically, geostationary orbiting.

To realistically simulate a geostationary orbit, the dynamics of the system was defined and linearized for Python simulation.

At the same time, the model is discretized for controller implementation. Specifically, we computed the optimal input using Linear Quadratic Regulator through the PSOC.

Kalman Filter was also computed to reduce process disturbances, such as thruster misalignments and atmospheric drag.
