One stick at a time
Along with two other spectacular Mechanical Engineers, Rebeca Toro Garza and Timothy Schuler, we constructed an “Eiffel Tower” made out of Balsa Wood.
Using Siemens NX as a tool on Finite Element Analysis to determine stress allocation and bucking properties, the structure was carefully designed and engineered.
We also spent countless hours, hand cutting balsa wood and gluing them together.
