Senior design project

Collins Aerospace sponsored my undergraduate senior design project.

I worked alongside with three other talented Mechanical Engineers – Matt Capovani, Chris Koo, and Noah Leibowitz.

In less than 5 months, we designed, analyzed, and manufactured the mount.

CAD Lead

I am specifically responsible for the Computer Aided Design and turn a design from concept to completion.

Here is a CAD drawing of the full assembly, covering over 100 parts.

The optical mount looks like a bunch of aluminum slap together but we actually met all 18 requirements and specifications, and it’s fully functional!
